Floral beauty from
a 130-year-old Victorian farm

We are a farm located in Bull Valley, Illinois. Our specialties include dried flowers, local workshops, crafted goods, herbal products, fine art photography, and Dahlia tubers.

Hi! Iā€™m Nicola

My family and I started Deo Gloria Farm in 2016. We purchased a 130-year-old historic Victorian farmstead on 15 acres, and began restoring from top to bottom - we were way over our head! But over the last 7 years, we've renovated the house completely and are currently restoring the vintage outbuildings as well as the farmland itself. It's been an incredible journey.... a labor of love to bring it back to its former glory and make it productive and beautiful. Many wonderful old peonies grew here already, and we've added many more, as well as shrubs like hydrangeas, and other annuals and perennials. We're constantly learning and experimenting with what dries well and how to get the best results.

The journey is still ongoing... growing flowers for our art studio, and creating beautiful things to share. The more we invested in this land, the more we learned about its rich history, and got to know the family whose ancestors built the house in 1890! We are so blessed to be able to share it with you. It's a peaceful place and I hope that our flowers bring you peace and tranquility, also.

Our farm is also home to two haflinger horses, Ace and Curly: one tough barn kitty, Miss Tibs; a couple of sandhill cranes who nest here every summer; and plenty of deer, turkey and other wanderers come and go. We offer a variety of dried florals straight from our farm for you to decorate your home. Thank you for supporting our business. We can't wait to serve you!
