Sunflower

One dozen naturally dried sunflower stems – an artisanal, rustic farm vibe. Flowers are 2-4” across and there are also some leaves, for a natural, relaxed look.

This year we grew two varieties – Autumn Beauty, in rich shades of yellow and burnt orange, with some bicolor yellow and cinnamon brown; and Florenza, a bicolor with contrasting pale yellow and deep red. Your bouquet will be a mix, with more Autumn Beauty and less Florenza. Sunflowers are tricky but with care, and picked at the exact right time of the bloom cycle, they dried beautifully. The intensely colored, crinkled dried petals (or more correctly florets) and lustrous dark centers are a beautiful combination. Limited selection due to deer this season 🙁
