Dahlia

Many different varieties, with 3 color mixes:

• Warm tones of yellow/orange/red/brown
• Cooler tones of purples/pinks
• Mixed colors – individually curated bunch with blooms that go well together.

All our flowers are completely natural, never any artificial color or chemical processes. Just the remarkable beauty of the great Artist who made them so perfectly.

We have been growing dahlias at the farm for eight years now, and selecting the best varieties for drying. We’ve trialed over 50 varieties, and dried just about everything! We’ve also experimented with different harvesting and drying techniques. Each dried bloom is truly a unique work of art. The pigments change and become more intense from the fresh to the dried flower – it reminds me of firing glaze on pottery. Two of the varieties we dried this year were developed right here on the farm.
